Impressive yet Notchy!
LG G7 ThinQ went official silently today around 7:30PM IST. It is the first phone from LG to sport a notch!
LG G7 ThinQ has Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 chip, that has an octa-core powerful CPU. It has Adreno 630 for graphics and gaming business and a more-than-needed 6GB of RAM. The internal memory on this device is 128GB which can be further expanded via a micro SD card.
G7 ThinQ sports a 6.1-inch QHD+ RWBW IPS LCD FullVision™ display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. It has an 19.5:9 aspect ratio, is HDR 10 compliant and has a pixel density of 563ppi. All this is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 on the top (even on the back). The brightness on this phone can go up to 1000 nits making it comfortable when outdoor.
G7 ThinQ has a 16MP primary lens with an f/1.6 aperture. It is aided with OIS and laser phase/contrast detection auto-focusing technologies. The Secondary lens a 16MP f/1.9 non-OIS fixed focus shooter with 107° wide-angle FOV. Both the camera supports 2160p recording at 30fps for now. G7 ThinQ supports AI Cam mode which comes with lots of features like scene detection.
The rear camera has a wider aperture thus will have brighter low light shots. LG is calling it a Super Bright Camera!
The front camera on G7 ThinQ is a 8MP shooter with a 90° FOV. It can shoot videos in 1080p at 30fps.
Battery on this beast is a 3,000mAh Li-Po which supports QC 3.0 fast charging. G7 ThinQ also supports WPC&PMA wireless and has Qnovo battery tech.
The IP68 certification along with MIL-STD-810G compliance makes it durable yet handy. G7 ThinQ has all the connectivity options one would expect from a flagship. There is a button to the left side that is a Google Assistant trigger button.
The G7 ThinQ has a mono boombox speaker which can give you loud performance.
