Nokia 7 Plus Launched Today In India At ₹ 25,999

Today, HMD Global has made it official! Nokia 7 Plus will be exclusively available on Amazon for preorders from the 20th of April.

Under the hood, Nokia 7 Plus (is a dual sim phone that) comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform (an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz) with a Adreno 512 GPU and a sufficient 4 gigabytes of RAM. The internal memory is still a standard 64 gigabytes of space that can be further expanded via a Micro SD Card supporting up to 256 GBs on that hybrid slot solution.



The display that Nokia 7 plus shines with is a 18:9 6-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 px which is a full HD + resolution. That gorgeous display, inside the 3D curved screen covered by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3, curves on all four corners makes it look stylish as it shines.


Nokia 7 Plus comes with a Zeiss Optics powered rear dual-camera setup and a fixed focus camera to the front. The back camera arrangement is a primary (wide-angle) 12MP camera with an f/1.75 aperture. The other one is a 13 MP telephoto lens with  an f/2.6 aperture and a dual-LED dual tone flash setup. The front camera is a 16 MP (fixed focus) camera with an f/2.0 aperture with a 1-micron sized pixels. Features like PDAF for focusing, amazing Bokeh Shots, HDR, Panorama and 2X Lossless Zoom are present. The primary rear camera’s video settings max out at 4K recording at 30fps whereas the front camera is capable of taking 1080p footage at 30fps.


Nokia 7 Plus’s body is a front glass with aluminium body that too with copper edges. It has 3800mAh of battery which comes with fast charging and has support for 2G/3G and 4G LTE bands which will flawlessly support India’s Jio network out of the box. On the connectivity side, it has a USB type-C port with support for  USB-OTG. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 along with NFC and dual band WiFi 802.11 (with a/b/g/n and ac band supported). On the bonus side it does come with a FM Radio.

The 7 Plus comes with android 8 Oreo (which is a Android-One based build) out of the box. Nokia 7 Plus might get quicker updates in terms of security and version upgrades. For security of data, the device has a fingerprint sensor mounted to the back of the phone. It still has support for the very much hyped Face Unlock.

The Nokia 7 Plus will be available in two attractive colors namely black and white with ceramic-feel coating.
